As a Christian you are to be the salt to the earth.
If you lose your saltiness as this verse suggest than how are you to be salt to the Earth.
Hold fast to Christ.
Grow with Him.
Bring Him along with you on your journey each and every step of the way.
Currently I am working on the character of Christ. Once I have gotten farther along in my study of this wonderful great man, I am going to share it with you.
For as Christians we are supposed to try to be like Christ, but if we don't really study his character, how are we to know what character we are supposed to have?
