God is often like that. He is always with us, but He isn't causing our pain.. or hurts.. but He is there to pick us up and brush us off when we do fall down!

Daddy
God is our daddy... He is like a father who walks near his toddler so that when he falls down, he's there to pick him up. The father doesn't stop the toddler from walking, he just walks near the baby...
God is often like that. He is always with us, but He isn't causing our pain.. or hurts.. but He is there to pick us up and brush us off when we do fall down!
The verse is Joshua 1:9, which reads: " Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (NIV)
